Amparo Cervera has been a full-time Professor at the University of Valencia since 2008. He has 6 five-year terms of teaching and 4 six-year terms of research recognized by the Ministry of Science and Education. Throughout the years of dedication to the University he has carried out research, teaching, management and knowledge transfer responsibilities. In all activities, individual effort combined with teamwork, rigor, and public service has prevailed. Its transfer activity has been developed from the most absolute conviction that it is part of the social responsibility of the Universities and their research teaching staff. She has been director of the Interuniversity Institute of International Economics (2016-2023). He has participated in more than 25 research projects, 11 of them funded through public calls and 14 are contracts with companies or institutions. She has been director of the City of València Chair (2013-2015) and the Sustainable Economic Model Chair of València and its surroundings (2017-2019). Led various competitive projects with the SIV research group -service, innovation, value- that he directs. Highlight European ENPI project called Newcimed: new cities in the Mediterranean Sea Basin on the sustainable development of tourist destinations. Led (2017-2019) a competitive project within the Program for the promotion of scientific research, technological development and innovation in the Valencian Community on the sustainability of Cruise Tourism. Author or co-author of more than 75 articles -60 of them indexed in Web of Science-, editor of 3 books and author or co-author of 35 books or book chapters, some of them internationally distributed. He has presented more than 150 papers at conferences and given conferences to diverse audiences. He has directed 14 doctoral theses, 10 of them funded by companies or institutions in a clear connection with the transfer of science to economic and social reality. Three of them were awarded extraordinary doctorate prizes by their respective universities -Castellón and Valencia- and another by the Chair of Entrepreneurs of the University of Salamanca as the best Spanish thesis in Entrepreneurship. He has also directed numerous master's and doctoral final projects. She has been invited to participate as a member of commissions that judge competitions for access to university teaching positions at a national and international level, as well as a member of doctoral theses tribunals. He is currently a member of the ANECA PEP places commission. He has evaluated Research projects for the ANEP (National Agency of the Ministry of Science and Innovation) as well as for the Evaluation and Accreditation Directorate of the Andalusian Knowledge Agency (DEVA-AAC) and the European Commission. Regarding research stays, note Victoria University (New Zealand), University of Birmingham (UK), Harvard Business School (USA), University of Beira Interior (Portugal), Paris XIII (France), Universidad Austral (Chile). In Spain, at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Almería, Castilla-La Mancha and Barcelona. She is currently an elected member of the Board of the Faculty of Economics, of the Equality Commission of the University of Valencia, of the CAT of the Degree in Tourism, of the CCA of the Postgraduate Degree in Tourism, of the CAPD of the Doctorate in International Economics and Tourism. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Intl. Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing (Springer) -SJR (Q2) 2023 & ESCI. Member of the editorial board of the Journal of Destination Marketing & Management.
