Tourismologist, specialized in Public Management of Tourism. Bachelor and graduate in tourism, master's degree in Tourism Management and Planning, master's degree in Techniques for environmental and territorial management and doctor in International Economics and Tourism. Professional expertise, from 2001 to 2020, in local and regional tourism planning and management as a technician and consultant. Since 2020 Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography. The fields of teaching and research are linked to tourism planning and management (strategies, tools, evaluation of tourism policies), processes and tools for the participation of actors, (analysis of social capital, organization of participation entities, study of perceptions), and impacts of tourism activity on destinations (review of strategies, systems for measuring tourist pressure, analysis and study of response mechanisms to tourist saturation), and the evaluation and implementation of processes for adapting cultural and natural heritage to tourist use.
