Alicia Martí Climent holds a PhD in Catalan Language and Literature from the Universitat de València and works in the Department of Language and Literature Teaching, where she is also the director. She teaches classes in the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education degree programmes and in the Master's Degree in Secondary Education, specifically in the specialisation of Catalan Language and Literature. She is a member of the Language Teaching Research Group (GIEL) and coordinates the GIEL-INNOVACIÓN consolidated group for teaching innovation in language teaching and the Multilingual Education Unit (UEM) at the Universitat de València. She is also a member of the cooperative network of ICT experiences for teaching in Valencian, Un entre tants, a pioneer in the use of ICT in Valencian. His lines of research focus on language education in multilingual environments and educational technology in language teaching. He is currently the principal investigator of the GVA's emerging research project "The use of video in multilingual contexts to improve professional teaching competence. Research on the development of communication strategies in the linguistic and didactic training of future teachers (VIDECOM)" (CIGE/2024/119) and a member of the MICIU research project, corresponding to the 2024 call for Knowledge Generation Projects, entitled "‘Interlinguistic reflection, teaching thought and action in multilingual contexts: development of the EGRAMINT corpus for language teacher training" (PID2024-158161OB-I00).
