Abstract

The first results obtained from the application to the territory of the READI© matrix of indicators (Resources, Actors and Dynamics), constructed on the basis of the participation of the socioeconomic actors of the territory, are presented. The proposal allows empirical verification of the degree to which the territories are competent to the extent that they take advantage of the available resources (natural, productive, human, etc.), through the actors present (social and economic) and generating dynamics between them (interactions between the socio-economic and natural systems), as essential elements for the development of the territory, the creation of employment and the improvement of the employability of the available human resources. The field work carried out in this work has allowed three territorial tests to be carried out: two to regional territories, belonging to two commonwealths, with a technical vision of the evaluation of their competence for development; and one at the municipal level, including the vision of the territorial socio-economic actors (political, technical and business-commercial) typical of a more specific territory. The main results obtained allow validating the applied and/or applicable potentialities of the matrix, allowing comparability between territories by obtaining a final score at the desired level of analysis (globally, by blocks or by individual elements). But, above all, making it easier to know how each territory is. What can also be defined for a specific territorial area, local, regional, provincial, etc., based on what is working or needs to be improved, from a perspective focused on intervention, allowing action to be taken from the theoretical level. of the diagnosis.
