Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increase in the prevalence rate of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which is reflected in school and in society. Students with ASD are characterized mainly by presenting difficulties in understanding, construction and interaction of social skills, a fundamental aspect for interpersonal development. The main objective of this research is to analyze the scientific literature through the articles published during the years 2016-2021 focused on intervention techniques used for intervention in social skills in these students. For this, a bibliographic review of scientific articles has been carried out, consulting the Scopus, Eric and Dialnet databases in the Spanish and English languages. As a consequence, 19 articles have been selected whose interventions have led to a significant improvement in different dimensions of social skills in individuals with ASD. The presence of a great methodological variety is concluded, as well as tools, programs and interaction resources, which implies an adaptation to the autism spectrum, and to its different levels of complexity.
