Zusammenfassung

The conflict caused by intervention in the painting of the Ecce Homo de Borja is a representative example of different logics, interests, agents and speeches that are involved in the conceptualization and management of cultural heritage. This painting, in its process of transformation, has taken on new uses and values, which have reached a global resonance due to its impact on the mass media.
