Résumé
Due to the increased use of technology derived from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is highly relevant to have a valid and reliable tool to measure technostress in university teachers. The objective of this study is to build a scale that evaluates technostress in university professors. The design has a descriptive, transversal and ex post facto range, with a convenience sample of 365 university professors. The results of the exploratory factorial analysis result in six dimensions, each dimension we denominate conceptually as Techno Academic workload, Techno Resources, Techno Interaction and communication, Techno Skills, Techno Invasion and Techno Support. Items with a factorial load less than 0.35 were eliminated, resulting in a final scale of 35 items. Due to the scale obtained had a psychometric behavior that reduced the items, we consider that it is necessary to continue testing the scale in various populations of higher education professors in the country.
