Abstract

In this article we examine the use of a virtual learning environment to optimize information management and communication of information among those involved in the Practicum course. Initially we present a review of the treatment that the subject has had since middle of last century until today in the Spanish state. Finally, we present the results of a pilot study of student teachers of Physical Education, which show students' positive attitudes toward the use of ICT and the perception of the importance they have within content curriculum, so that these elements promote skills development not only generic but also transverse thus supporting the socio-personal and professional.
