El uso combinado de tareas colaborativas y cine bélico en la enseñanza del Inglés Militar

Resumen

Todo curso de idiomas exitoso debería comenzar con una identificación de las metas de los alumnos y un análisis de sus necesidades comunicativas presentes o futuras para ayudarles a alcanzar esas metas. En cuanto a la enseñanza de la lengua inglesa en el Centro Universitario de la Defensa, hemos identificado que el libro de texto propone un inglés general y por ello, hemos diseñado una programación personalizada que toma en cuenta las necesidades comunicativas de los cadetes y que a la vez, les permite familiarizarse con el tipo de discurso empleado en el ámbito militar. De este modo, nuestra propuesta educativa hace uso predominante del inglés militar combinando el aprendizaje basado en tareas colaborativas con el cine bélico. Este estudio se propone dos objetivos principales: por una parte, conocer las percepciones y actitudes de los cadetes hacia este proyecto novedoso y, por otra, comprobar el impacto de la metodología sobre el nivel de inglés de los cadetes.
