This paper aims to analyze whether Aps methodology contributes to the development of generic skills in university students, especially with the EpD and the ethical and civic commitment. Discussion groups, semistructured interviews and documentary analysis have been used as qualitative techniques. The results show that firstly, the ApS promotes both civic commitment and more complex curricular learning, contributing to personal and social student development. Secondly, the importance of the University responding to citizens and making them feel cared for and committed to. Finally, the teacher maintains linearity with previous approaches.
