Résumé
This study analyzed what the correlations are between a scale of general development and a scale of specific motor area development. The objective is to determine, if there is a correlation between the scores of both and to determine whether the specific scale of motor development may be effective in a precise global development assessment of children with motor problems. The scales used in the Early Childhood Center were used in the correlation study with children under 2 years of age in physiotherapy treatment. Study results show a high correlation between the two scales. Study investigators conclude that the specific scale of motor development correlates significantly with the scale of overall development.
