Abstract

A systematic replication of the bifactorial structure found by Dedobbeleer & Béland (1991) is presented Dedobbeleer & Béland's questionnaire includes nine ítems and measures «Climate towards Occupational Safety». A new scale with similar number of ítems and similar contains is now created Several Confirmatory Factor Analysis with two ways of estimation. Maximum Likelihood and Generalized Least Squares ore conduced on new Climate scale. The factor structure with best global fit is the two factors with generalized least squares estimation. However both, a three factors structure took from Brown & Holmes (1986) and another one factor structure show adequate fit to data. Finally, this work pretends to enhance the necessity to create and to lay the theoric foundations of Organizational Climate concept
