I worked as a predoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Technology of University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) (April 2017-November 2021) with MSOC-FOOD and FOOD CHEMISTRY WASTE group. I was a fellowship holder from JCCM (Spain) through the predoctoral contract SBPLY/16/180501/000075 got in competitive call. My doctoral thesis "Sustainable and emerging approaches for lignocellulosic biomass valorization" includes the International and CUM LAUDE mentions, and it received the Extraordinary PhD Award in Science by UCLM. I run two research stays which allowed me to start different collaborations with prestigious research groups on a national and international scale. I initially moved to University of Turin (UNITO, Italy) (September – December 2019) thanks to Ayudas para estancias en universidades y centros de investigación en el extranjero program (UCLM), in collaboration with ORGANIC CHEMISTRY group. From April to May 2021, I developed my activity at University of Valencia (UV, Spain) in collaboration with ALISOST group. Just after finishing my PhD, I continued my career at UNITO as a postdoctoral researcher in collaboration with ORGANIC CHEMISTRY group as well. I developed a 12-month stage (January - December 2022) being hired through Assegni per la collaborazione ad attività di ricerca fellowship program funded by UNITO (DSTF_2021_06_XXIII, competitive call). From January 2023 (33 months), I full-time develop my research activity with ALISOST group at UV thanks to the consecution of two postdoctoral contracts in competitive calls: Margarita Salas program funded by UCLM (January 2023 - October 2024) (2023-POST-21234) and APOSTD funded by GVA (from October 15th, 2024, to October 14th, 2026) (CIAPOS/2023/236). During these years, I have principally worked on synthesis and extraction of bio-based compounds through green chemistry and process intensification, addressing at the field of organic chemistry, chemical engineering, and food science and technology. These investigations are enclosed in a total of 10 research projects got in competitive calls at regional, national, and European level, and in which I participate or have participated in the role of principal investigator (PI) (1) (MICROPISAN, UCLM, 6.000 €, 4 researchers), researcher member (4) (BLUEWAYS, EXTRAOLIOPRO, RECHUTEPS, VERABIOCAT), and working team member (6) (ECONUBIOHEALTH, RILO21, 22 and 23, PROSEED). From September 1st, 2025, I also coordinate AGROBIOMAT (CIGE/2024/97) as PI, recently funded by GVA (Spain) (10.000 €) for a total period 12 months, and in which 4 researchers are involved. My scientific production derived from the execution of these projects is documented by 28 JCR scientific articles (21Q1, 6Q2, 1 Q3, 10 as first author (FA), 1 corresponding author (CA), 2 as FA+CA and 1 as last author (LA), with 50% preferential authorship rate, 380 CITATIONS, h-index 12), 68 contributions in national (29) and international (38) meetings (4 invited lectures (3 international), and 1 Best Poster Award (international)), 2 book chapters, and 9 technological transfer contracts (4 as PI). Most of these attainment has allowed me to obtain a positive evaluation by ANECA (Spain) for the recognition of 1 six-year term in public Spanish University (2017-2023 years).
