Sergio Belles Monserrat holds a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Valencia. He has completed postgraduate studies specializing in mountain area management (University of Lleida) and environmental problem analysis (University of Barcelona). Currently, he is a pre-doctoral researcher employed by the University of Valencia as part of the ACIF 2021 Program. He is also a member of the UDERVAL Research Group (GIUV2015-214), led by Dr. Javier Esparcia, and affiliated with the Interuniversity Institute of Local Development (IIDL). His research focuses on studying depopulation processes in rural areas of Valencia.
