Résumé
El voluntariado deportivo es un tema poco estudiado en la actualidad. Sin embargo, es de gran relevancia para los eventos deportivos grandes, ya que los voluntarios resultan necesarios para el buen desarrollo de los mismos. Por tanto, el objetivo de este estudio es conocer acerca de la experiencia del voluntariado del Maratón de Valencia y las variables que predicen la satisfacción. La investigación se ha llevado a cabo mediante la administración de un cuestionario estructurado online. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 241 voluntarios del Maratón de Valencia. Los resultaros mostraron que la correlación más fuerte entre variables se da entre la satisfacción general y el valor; en lo que respecta a los modelos de regresión se observó que el valor es uno de los mejores predictores de la satisfacción, que la dimensión de la motivación que mejor predice la satisfacción es el crecimiento personal y que la satisfacción es un buen predictor de las intenciones futuras. Los resultados muestran potentes relaciones entre las variables analizadas y una alta satisfacción de los voluntarios, lo que ayuda a los gestores a seguir por la línea actual y potenciar con nuevas estrategias los puntos más débiles
