Abstract
The diagnosis and selection of lhe patient subsidiary of dental implants, is one of the keys to the success in oral implantology. In the preliminary study of the patient, the general factors are referred lo lhe age, smoking habit, pregnancy, psychical factor, economic and systemic conditions; and lhe local factors are connected with the study of lte remaining teeth, soft tissue and bone morphology. The evaluation of ali of them will determine the possibility of carrying out lhe dental rehabilitation wilh implan Is, and the election of the adequate prosthetic treatment. In this study, we consider these factors and their únportance in the diagnosis according /he result of treatment.
