Resumen
The regulation of professional career by ANECA and other evaluation systems is resulting in an abundant and visible body of research in the university field. But, what are the implications of this model on the university staff, such as teachers and researchers? Some evidence has shown that this new trend does not foster teachers’ strong identity, but it may work against it. We will work with some initial assumptions – ideas for discussion- that should be contrasted by future exhaustive field work. However, we that this fact has obvious consequences in the current teacher role. We stimulate not researchers, scientists or intellectuals, but strategists who know the interest of the system by quantifiable products; strategists who make a tactical study about the different levels of evaluation.
