Abstract

A new hybrid of Teucrium (sect. Polium, Labiatae) for the Valencian flora is described, Teucrium × jaragueense, nothosp. nov. This hybrid is the result of the natural cross between T. expassum and T. valentinum. Iconography, morphological description and the main diagnostic characters are provided. Finally, several nomenclatural novelties are proposed for the names: T. expassum subsp. meridionale P.P. Ferrer, R. Roselló, Gómez Nav., E. Laguna & J.B. Peris, T. majoricum Rouy, T. capitatum var. gracillimum Rouy, and T. capitatum var. spicatum Loscos & Pardo.
