Resumen

Our objective is to characterize the coprolites of domestic animals to know the pastures, the animal’s diseases and the organic material decomposition processes in the archaeological sites. Four sheep and/or goat coprolites and a cow one from very extend chronologic contexts since the Neolithic period to almost the present-day had been analyzed with the S.E.M. techniques. The coprolites contained plant, fungal, microbial and mineral remains.
