Abstract

Some of the elements of the process are reviewed by which the poetic work of Vicent Andrés Estellés becomes a reference for the construction of a Valencian national identity, especially in a specific sociopolitical context. An early commitment and the insertion in the canon of Catalan literature show the nuances of the work of an already classic author of our letters. It reflects on national identity, language and literature.
