Abstract

The autonomous State, a genuinely Spanish territorial form –because it has its antecedent, with all the differences you want, in the integral State of the Republican Constitution of 1931– is strongly consolidated in Spain. It cannot be reversed because it is rooted in the history of Spain itself and is legally protected by the provisions of the 1978 Constitution. It is one of the central issues of Spanish Constitutional Law, on which scientific production is abundant but which It constantly raises new profiles that encourage reflection on issues of enormous importance for the future of our autonomous State and proposals to improve its operation. For this purpose, the document that follows has been prepared and allows for an always open debate.
