Résumé
This paper is an in-depth analysis of the assumption of the genre duality (men and women) in Greek menthality as well as how such a duality it is present not only in Greek literature but also in Greek mythology. As evidence we pointed out how male characters subdue and marginalise female characters by relegating them to a secondary role and assuming themselves the mental temper of female characters.
