Resumo

Since the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989, which expanded children’s rights, its impact on multilevel legislation has increased. The main objective of this research was to examine the regulations on childhood and adolescence in four autonomous communities and those in the central state. For this purpose, a sociological neo-institutionalist approach and qualitative methodology based on content analysis using the MAXQDA software in its 2022 version were used. The main variables studied correspond to the objectives and language of the norms, which allowed us to understand their discourse and degree of development. Applying a taxonomy of our own elaboration based on the three P’s and six P’s, we compared the autonomous regulations of Andalusia, Valencia, Navarra, Madrid, and the state Organic Law.
