Résumé

[Holocene evolution of the Peñíscola marsh (Castellón, Spain) inferred from the study of its fossil foraminifera]. The foraminiferal assemblages and the study of their population dynamics together with the occurrence of some thecamoebians indicate the existence of a low salinity coastal lagoon at Peñíscola, that was colonized during the Holocene by euryhaline species. The five mechanical cores studied allow the reconstruction of the evolution of this coastal lagoon from its start, on a quaternary alluvial substratum until its recent filling.
