Una nova varietat de Juniperus phoenicea (Cupressaceae) per a Castelló i Tarragona

Resum

Es descriu i il·lustra una nova varietat de Juniperus phoenicea L. (Cupressaceae) per a l’est peninsular ibèric, i se’n presenta una descripció morfològica i els principals caràcters diagnòstics. Aquesta nova varietat s’ha trobat formant una població d’uns 40 exemplars a la serra d’Irta (Castelló), on es presenta en matollars de segona línia, no directament sobre el penya-segat litoral, i també a Siurana (Tarragona) on els exemplars s’han localitzat als voltants del poble, dins d’una vegetació de pi blanc (Pinus halepensis Mill.).
