Abstract
A fast and relatively easy preparative method to obtain the 110 K (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu30io+5 phase, in 60 hours of sintering, is described. The powder thus obtained is procesed into wires and oriented fíbers by using two methods recently developed in our laboratory. The main features of a Wire Drawing system and a Laser Floating Zone (LFZ) growth system are described. Finally, the results obtained initially with the two above methods are briefly summarized
