Abstract
The article show some outputs obtained with the research “Social Diagnosis of the City of Valencia, 2017” carried out with the collaboration agreement between the City Council of Valencia (Social Services, Welfare and Integration) and the University of Valencia (research network Incluye). One of the most relevant features of the research was its local approach in the methodological and technical development to providing relevant information about eleven areas of the Municipal Social Services Centres (CMSS) in the city. The results that we present focus on the local-urban space of the city of Valencia of the processes of worsening social inequalities, characterised by the existence of areas where the effects of the economic crisis have been practically imperceptible and others with high rate of population at risk of poverty and social exclusion as consequence of long exclusions process and the emergence of new vulnerability profiles.
