Abstract
Dental abscesses are o ne of the most common causes of emergencies on a dental practice . Because of their different pathologies and causes it is very important to define a correct diagnosis in order to establish the correct treatment. This arride reviews the terminology commonly used, describes its varies clinical forms, diagnosis and specific treatment.
