Resum
There are studied 1.100 adolescents of both sexes, proceeding from educational centres of the city of Valencia, with the purpose of determining the relations between the consumption of alcoholic drinks and a series of psychosocial variables hypothetically linked to this consumption: family socialization, attitudes towards the alcohol, social values, information about the effects of the alcohol, and consumption in the groups of infl uence. In agreement with the obtained results, the subjects were assigned to three clusters of alcoholic consumption: abstemious, moderate consumers and improper consumers. A discriminant analysis was applied which results indicate that the alcoholic consumption can be predicted for the permissive attitudes towards the alcohol supported by the teenagers, for the consumption that realize the group and the family of the adolescents, and for the hedonistic motivation that these demonstrate.
