Abstract
A study of the nitrophilous trodden communities in Valencia is made, and a new association is described: Euphorbio chamaesyci-Altemantheretum caracasanae, of which three subassociations are proposed: euphorbietosum chamaesyci, which grows in the crevices of pavements; porhdacetosum oleraceae, which conveys the transit towards the communities of Panico-Setarion; and heliotropetosum curassavici, typical of subsaline soils. The association Polygono-Coronopetum squamati (Sissingh 1969) Oberdorfer 1971, which colonizes compact clay soils, is also briefly commented.
