Resumen

El objetivo de esta investigación es examinar el impacto de la inteligencia emocional en la felicidad en el trabajo. Además, se explora el papel mediador de la resiliencia en la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y la felicidad en el trabajo. Las hipótesis se comprobarán a través de modelos de ecuaciones estructurales basados en covarianzas, en una muestra de 218 profesores de la etapa de Educación Secundaria y Formación Profesional. Los resultados revelan dos importantes contribuciones. En primer lugar, la inteligencia emocional promueve la felicidad en el trabajo cuando es capaz de desarrollar la resiliencia. En segundo lugar, esta investigación ofrece una escala de medida adaptada a la población profesores. Además, direc-tivos y cargos públicos disponen ahora de una nueva herramienta para fomentar la felicidad en el trabajo.
