Abstract

The work presents some tables that have recently appeared on the art market. Four of them we attribute to the anonymous Master of Portillo. A fifth table, auctioned in Italy, is assigned to the Maestro of Calzada, who worked, above all, in the Valladolid area. These artistic personalities remain anonymous, surely due to the scant documentation preserved in the territory where they practiced. However, the various work campaigns that we have carried out by the Castilian environment and the knowledge of some private collections, have allowed us to obtain infrared digital photographs of some of their works that have allowed us to know the underlying drawing and the creative process of these masters. . These images that we contribute serve as technical documents, so that in the future they can be used to help elucidate other possible attributions to these painters.
