Abstract

The special autonomic idiosyncrasy of Spain facilitates the inclusion of music from other cultures, which can contribute to favoring the inclusion of immigrant students. It is intended to show how Primary teachers may have difficulties in educating interculturally, because their materials do not facilitate the understanding of cultural alterity. A quantitative and qualitative study focused on music-themed magazines. A small number of music magazines have devoted space to musicograms, which don’t fit the pluricultural Spanish reality. The data obtained showed that the didactic materials don’t adapt to the intercultural needs of the students
