Abstract
The edition and translation of Guillem Molins de Podio’s Enchiridion de principiis musice contra negantes illa et destruentes offers new data that will eliminate confusion concerning the author’s origins and intellectual development. At the same time, it will give specialists access to an important work of 17th–century music theory that was widely known and cited by Molins de Podio’s Spanish contemporaries.
