Resumen
The role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education has significantly increased. The incorporation of ICT in schools promotes more flexible and dynamic learning environment which involves not only students and teachers, but also encourages the participation and cooperation between families and the teaching staff. Blogs are new content development and management technologies that allow an interactive and intercreative engagement among students and between students and teachers. They are used as a technology support tool in teaching–learning processes in contemporary schools. Specifically, blogs have great potential as a tool in the field of education, since they can adapt to any discipline, educational level, or teaching method.The aim of this work is to build an atmosphere for communication and collaborative knowledge correlated with teachers and fathers/mothers and to promote the learning participation by families, using education blogs.
