Abstract

During the last years, the use of bibliometric indicators as complement of other scientific indicators to analyse the research situation of a country, its evolution in time and its position in the international context has been extended. This work analyses the visibility and international repercussion of Spanish research in Legal Psychology published in indexed scientific journals in the database Web of Science (WoS). In order to achieve the study works published in journals included in the categories of the Journal Citation Report (JCR) of Criminology & Penology and Law, and done by researchers whose affiliation is on a Spanish institution during the period 2005-2014 were selected. Therefore, from a certain indication such as the number of works produced and the percentages of works in impact journals and their significance, we have analysed the Spanish production and visibility in Legal Psychology. This work reveals that since the year 2009 it exists a significant number of Spanish Legal Psychology works in the WoS, and that 98.08% of these are done by means of collaboration.
