Resumen

The War of Succession (1702/15) was particularly devastating in the lands of Lleida, especially as a result of the siege of the city in 1707. This study wants to make known a family of sculptors, the Escarpenter, active during the 18th century, which from Olot (Girona), they moved to Lleida to take charge of the most important sculptural companies inside and outside the city, which would serve to ornament the new parish temples that were being built.
