Sustainable development goals

Abstract

Globalization and internationalization of the markets, as well as the increasing of the competition force companies to consider their business strategies. In that regard, the goal of this study is to improve the costing and management system in a Port Authority, through the implantation of a costing and management system based on activities (ABC/ABM). With this we intend to respond to the needs of this company for adapting its internal information system to these new requirements of the market and so obtaining better quality information to achieve a strategic management of its costing.
