The metodology chase two lines: to analyze the celebrity how a invented tradition, and to observe the festivity how a interactional space because in those moments, indigenous and mestizos are found and they are to celebrate the Espectáculo folklórico más grande de América. The Guelaguetza provide elements for to support the oaxaqueños indentity, but is, in the self moment, a space for to reaffirm the social segregational and reforzar the social orden in force.
