Resumen

The Law 8/2021 on disability recently entered into force on September 3, 2021 in Spain, the STS is published September 8, 2021, which addresses a case whose events occurred before the entry into force, and even before the publication of said Law. The Supreme Court has ruled on the application of the Law to the case based on DT 6 of the same, on the new principles established in said regulation, on the need to apply support measures, in particular the curatorship, and on the scope of the affected party’s refusal to establish said measures.
