Abstract
Developments in Artificial Intelligence and their connection with the Administration of Justice make it necessary to carry out a thorough analysis of the implications of the progressive incorporation of automated systems in the sphere of the recognition of rights. Without solid theoretical foundations to properly understand the new information age, it is possible to incur biased positions that prevent us from recognising the contribution that science and technology can offer in favour of the protection and guarantee of rights.
