El perfil fuerza-velocidad en salto y sprint. Una revisión narrativa

Resumen

Se analizó la literatura científica relativa al perfil F-v (Fuerza – velocidad). La búsqueda se realizó en PubMed mediante las palabras clave “force-velocity profile”. Un total de 40 estudios de 126 artículos se seleccionaron a partir de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Los resultados se dividieron en dos apartados y cuatro subapartados, diferenciando dentro del salto vertical los artículos concernientes a la metodología de la medición y a la forma de optimización del entrenamiento. Por su parte, en el sprint, se agruparon los artículos que trataban la metodología y la individualización y se separaron de los que trataban sobre el perfil F-v y la lesión de isquiotibial. Como conclusión del estudio, el perfil F-v en salto y en sprint es una metodología validada de medición que facilita la individualización del entrenamiento. Sin embargo, pese a que se encuentran mejorías en el rendimiento tras entrenamientos basados en su perfil, en referencia al sprint, se necesitan más investigaciones para crear un cuerpo sólido de resultados que apoyen rotundamente su eficacia.
