Abstract

The current complexity of organizations in the new economic paradigm is even more relevant when we speak of public organizations. These are subject to internal constraints (in terms of design and organizational structure) and external constraints (taking into account the diversity of key agents and interest groups). The INNOVA LABORA- UV Chair was born from the collaboration between the Universitat de València and the Valencian employment and training service (LABORA) with the aim of developing a strategic alliance for the creation of an ecosystem in training, aimed at improving employability, in which to develop and evaluate new products and training services. The specific line of action in which we focus is the creation of new knowledge to analyze and develop a methodology for the detection and analysis of training needs in occupational training (DNF). The aim of this work is to disseminate the intervention carried out from an Action Research framework. In this sense, the training needs analysis model (DNF model) will be explained. In this way, the different stages of the DNF model will be analyzed from the perspective of intervention, with a multifaceted nature, considering various techniques and analysis tools. Finally, the challenges of the methodology used by the LABORA will be explained. With all this, it is expected a more efficient use of public resources allocated for occupational training.
