Resumen

Este trabajo revisa el grado de sostenibilidad estratégica de la competitividad y el liderazgo mundial que ostenta el turismo español en función en función de la evolución de la adaptación medioambiental de la empresa turística, estudiando especialmente el efecto determinante causado por el tamaño organizativo. La dimensión se revela como un determinante asociado directamente al grado de adopción por la empresa turística española de eco-innovaciones para incorporar la sostenibilidad medioambiental al posicionamiento competitivo del producto y del destino, para minorar el consumo de recursos naturales y energía y para desarrollar la economía circular
