Abstract
In Spain, the CLIL methodological approach has gradually increased its relevance in the area of Physical Education. In response to this situation, the aims proposed in this study are: (1) to know what CLIL implies for teachers; (2) to find out their opinion about the permanent teacher training and (3) to clarify the reasons that lead them to use it. From a qualitative methodological approach, the results suggest that the application of the CLIL approach implies an overload of work that is little valued by the institutions. In addition, teachers demand a more specific and quality permanent training
