Résumé

The combination of virtual reality and acoustics has opened up a wide field of research in recent years, which has had a sizeable impact at a global level, with a significant production and a good outlook for the future. This paper details both the achievements and the problems found and overtaken in the project BIA2008-05485. In this project, objective and subjective parameters have been examined to assess the perceived sound quality in rooms, auditoriums and buildings of our heritage. A framework in a virtual environment has been set to conduct the experiments.
