Abstract

This work is intended as a basic guide to the treatment by default that make two of the most used programs in room acoustics simulation: CATT-acoustic and ODEON. After doing the basic considerations of what defaults each of the programs used, we present the results obtained using the same geometry and the same scattering coefficients in both programs. From these results we conclude that the results sometimes differ by more than one jnd in the parameters studied.
