Resumen

Este artículo investiga si, y en qué medida, las empresas individuales mejoran su innovación al comportarse como intermediarios que conectan a otros actores del clúster de la cerámica española. Los efectos de los roles de intermediación se analizan para diferentes niveles de innovación mediante regresiones cuantílicas. Finalmente, especulamos sobre los efectos indirectos e interactivos de los distintos atributos de la organización individual y estos beneficios. Los resultados muestran que las actividades de corretaje influyen de manera desigual en el desempeño innovador del corredor. Además, la intensidad del impacto varía para diferentes niveles de innovación y la capacidad de absorción de la empresa modera el efecto final de actuar como intermediario.
