Smartphones have become an essential personal communication tool for university students because of their technological capabilities and closeness to the students. For this reason, they are emerging as a powerful tool of educational innovation in the teaching of cyberjournalism in a current context where all kind of mobile gadget assumes an increasing role in communication. This paper studies the implementation of a mobile journalism workshop for the subject of Cyberjournalism at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) in Castellón and analyzes the characteristics of this proposal for students to produce informative productions with professional quality standards for digital environment. The objective is help the students to get the skills and the abilities of mojo working with tools that the they perceive so close and, in this way, it favours a kind of learning inspired in the game, where students are an active part.
