Abstract

The media structure of the DTT has made appear, in television, at the side of the "authentic direct" and the "false direct", a new category of "the direct", that we might name the "pseudo-direct", or the "succedaneous direct". Inversely of those, it consists of a strategy based in production, "low-cost/low-tech", where the urgent realization dismantles the logic of space-time continuity and coherence, imposing the immediate as catalyst of the reality, through a schizophrenic narrative between "there" and "here", between "that time" and " now ". That is Callejeros (Cuatro TV) and similar, "low-culture" television programs.
